The Erasmus Student Network Bocconi is a non-profit, apolitical association of students. Its aim is to support the student exchange programs, supplying information and any kind of help that can be voluntarily given by its members. ESN Bocconi is member of the Italian network, ESN Italia, and of the international one, ESN International. ESN International is a pan-European student organisation which was founded in Copenhagen in 1990. Since then, the network has expanded considerably. At the moment ESN consists of more than 250 sections in 30 countries.

Our goals are:

• improving the social integration of foreign students at the host institution

• providing more adequate information about exchange programmes

• taking advantage of exchange students' experience by making them active in the network

• continuously contributing to the evaluation of the European exchange programmes based on the experiences of former exchange students. In order to pursue these goals during the academic semesters of every year, ESN organizes cultural trips around Italy and Europe, guided visits to the most famous monuments in Milan, a design competition, conferences and parties in various clubs almost every day of the week.

Our organization:

The services and activities are granted completely by the volunteer work of a certain number of active members, mostly Italian students come back from an exchange program. There are also periodical national meetings (Piattaforme Nazionali, PN) while there is only an international assembly general meeting (AGM) per year.

We help incoming Exchange students to:

- Find an house in Milano, we have a special working team called "PROGETTO CASA";

- Get a fiscal code (called "codice fiscale"), you especially need it to get a card to eat at university refectory.

- Learn Italian or any other language, we have a special working team called "TANDEM", you can practice the language you like having conversations with other foreign students like you;

- Have any kind of informations about the crazy student life in Milano!

We are also well known for our "entertaing side", that is to organize some of the best

- Crazy parties, they are unique and famous since they are the only where Exchange get free entrance, discounted drinks and a true international and friendly atmosphere you can't find anywhere else.)

- Travels, some of the "long" ones are in Munich, Florence, Naples, Sicily, Genoa, etc., some of the "short" ones are in Venice, Verona, Bologna,Torino, etc.);

- Cultural tours: (Parco Sempione, Triennale, Cenacolo, Duomo tour, etc.)

- Cineforums, we participate at the best Bocconi cineforum, with movies in original languages or at least with subtitles that are included to help you understand;

- International student dinners,  that are a cross between a party and a meal where everybody brings typical dishes from their originary country;

- Soccer tournaments, also with girl teams as well;

- many and many other things!
